Brake pad : removal and installation of brake pad removal 1. 2. 3. Remove tires from vehicle with power tool. Remove mounting bolt from the top mount. Swing cylinder body open, and remove pads. Installation 1. Push piston in so that pad is firmly attached and mount cylinder body to torque member. Note: using a commercially available disc brake piston tool, makes it easier to push in the piston. Caution: by pushing in piston, brake fluid returns to master cylinder reservoir tank. Watch the level of the surface of reservoir tank. Apply molykote m-77 grease to knuckle slide where brake pad contacts. Caution: do not get grease on the brake rotor friction surface. 2.

On-vehicle repair > • pull back glove box assembly (1). • remove damper pin (1) of left side. : clip 41. Remove instrument lower cover. • pull downward, disengaged pawls. • pull back instrument lower cover (1). • disconnect illumination lamp harness connector. : pawl 42. Remove instrument lower panel rh. • remove instrument lower panel rh (1) fixing screws (a). • pull back instrument lower panel rh. • disconnect glove box lamp harness connector. : pawl 43. Disconnect front passenger air bag module connector. Refer to sr-8, “exploded view”. 44. Remove front passenger air bag module fixing bolt. Refer to sr-8, “removal and installation”.

HOW TOUSE JOYSTICK AND ìENTERîBUTTON Choose an item on the display using the joystick and push the ìENTERî button for operation. HOWTOUSEìPREVîBUTTON This button has two functions. c Go back to the previous display (cancel). If you touch ìPREVî button during setup, the setup will be canceled and/or the display will return to the previous screen. c Finish setup. If you touch this button after the setup is completed, the setup will start over, and the display will return to the climate control or audio mode and Navigation screen. SETTING UP THE START-UP SCREEN When you turn the ignition key to ACC or ON, the SYSTEM START-UP warning is displayed on the screen. Read the warning and select theìI AGREEî (English) orìENTERî (FranÁais) key then push the ìENTERî button. If you do not push the ìENTERî button, the Navigation system will not proceed to the next step display. If you do not touch the button or screen key for more than 1minute on the TRIP, SETTING or START-UP screen, the screen will change to TRIP screenautomatically.
