Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair Security Code Instructions ENTERING THE SECURITY CODE If the code has not already been entered, or if power to the set has been interrupted, the code MUST be entered before the set will work. Enter the code as follows: – Switch on the unit by pressing the On/Off button (1) (‘CODE IN’ appears in the display). – Enter the correct security code by pressing the numbered buttons (7) corresponding to the numbers of the code in the right order; eg. If the first digit of the code number is a 3, press pre-set button 3 (the number will then appear on the display). – When the correct code has been entered, the display will show the radio frequency and the radio will operate. NOTE: This process will have to be repeated whenever the unit is disconnected from the power supply. If the wrong code number is entered, the numbers will remain on the display and the unit will not operate. If this occurs, follow the procedure below: – Press and hold the BND (4) button for approximately three seconds (‘CODE IN’ appears on the display). – Enter the CORRECT code number. If the wrong code number is entered three times, a time delay period of one hour commences. After one hour, you can try again. Each time another incorrect code is entered, another hour delay will be activated until the correct code is entered. CATS Indicator To warn potential thieves that your unit is protected by a computer anti-theft system, an indicator light (8) flashes whenever the starter switch is turned off. This light can be either activated or deactivated by the following procedure: – Turn off the vehicle’s starter switch. – Press and hold the BND button (4) for approximately three seconds.

Rear door trim panel removal and installation note: rh side shown, lh side similar. 1. Remove the rear door handle bezel. – remove the screw cover. – remove the screw. – disconnect the electrical connector. 2. Remove the upper rear trim panel screw. 3. Remove the rear door handle cover screw. – remove the screw cover. – remove the screw. 4. Remove the rear door trim panel. – disconnect the electrical connector. 5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Sunroof / moonroof motor: service and repair sunroof – motor service repair no – 76.82.53 remove 1. Close sunroof panel. 2. Remove front map/courtesy lamp. 3. Remove 3 screws securing sunroof motor to mounting bracket. 4. Remove motor and collect spacers. 5. Remove sunroof motor multiplug from mounting clip and disconnect multiplug. Refit 6. If position of sunroof motor is not known, synchronize motor to closed position before fitment as follows: connect motor to motor multiplug. With ignition in position I or ii, operate sunroof switch to open position. Press and hold sunroof switch to closed position until motor stops. 7. 8. 9. 10. Connect motor multiplug and secure to mounting clip. Fit spacers to motor. Position motor to mounting bracket and secure with screws. Torque tighten screws to 2 nm (1.5 lbf.Ft). Fit front map/courtesy lamp.
