1. Release the pressure in the cooling system by slowly turning the pressure relief cap one half turn counterclockwise. When the pressure is released, remove the pressure relief cap. 2. Note: less than 80% of coolant can be recovered with the engine in the vehicle. Dirty, rusty or contaminated coolant requires replacement. Filling and bleeding with radkitplus 1. Using the special tool, install the radkitplus and follow the radkitplus manufacturer’s instructions to fill and bleed the cooling system. Filling and bleeding without radkitplus caution: engine coolant provides freeze protection, boil protection, cooling efficiency and corrosion protection to the engine and cooling components. In order to obtain these protections, the engine coolant must be maintained at the correct concentration and fluid level in the degas bottle. When adding engine coolant, use a 50/50 mixture of engine coolant and clean, drinkable water. To maintain the integrity of the coolant and the cooling system: on 3.9l engines 1. Remove the engine fill cap.

interior trim and ornamentation removal and installation rear door trim panel removal 1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to section 414-01. 2. Note: use care not to damage the trim panel when removing the screws. Remove the screws. 3. Remove the handle. 4. Remove the screws. 5. Remove the rear door trim panel. 6. Disconnect the electrical connector. 7. Disconnect the color-coded clips from the bracket. Installation 1. Connect the clips to the pull-strap. The silver retainer clip goes toward the front of the vehicle. The green retainer clip goes toward the rear of the vehicle. 2. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
