Multifunction, turn signal switch replacement removal procedure fig. 28: view of steering column wire harness assembly & wire harness strap 1. Disable the sir system. Refer to sir disabling and enabling zone 3 in sir. 2. Remove the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to steering column trim covers replacement. Important: the abrasion sleeve located on the steering column wire harness assembly must be reinstalled. Make note of what connector is coming out of the abrasion sleeve for installation purposes. 3. Remove the wire harness assembly (1) from the wire harness strap (2). 4. Disconnect the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly connector from the sir system coil connector. Slide the 2 connectors (2) of the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly out of the bulkhead connector (1).

1. Record the radio stations and disconnect the battery ground cable. Note: steps 2 and 3 do not apply to villager. Go to step 4. 2. Turn the ignition switch lock cylinder to the run position. Then, push the ignition switch lock cylinder release tab with a punch while pulling out the ignition switch lock cylinder. 3. Remove the tilt wheel handle by turning the handle counterclockwise (if equipped). 4. Remove the upper to lower steering column shroud retaining screws and remove the shrouds. 5. Remove the two (2) multifunction switch retaining screws and disconnect the electrical connectors. See figure 1. 6. Inspect the multifunction switch electrical connector pins to make sure they are not loose or pushed out in the connectors. See figure 2. 7. Connect the new multifunction switch, making sure the electrical connectors snap into place and are fully seated. 8. Install the new switch. Tighten the screws to 3 nm (27 lb-in).

2003 rsx – intake manifold removal and installation exploded view – k20a3 engine removal – k20a3 engine 1. Remove the intake manifold cover. 2. Disconnect the intake air temperature (iat) sensor connector (a), and remove the breather hose (b), then remove the air cleaner housing (c). 3. Remove the throttle cover (a). Fully open the throttle link and cruise control link by hand, then remove the throttle cable (b) and cruise control actuator cable (c) from the links. Loosen the locknuts (d), and remove the cables from the bracket. ? 4. Remove the evaporative emission (evap) canister hose (a) and brake booster vacuum hose (b). 5. Remove the water bypass hoses, then plug the water bypass hoses. 6. Disconnect the intake manifold tuning (imt) (intake manifold runner control (imrc)) valve actuator control solenoid valve connector (a), then remove the positive crankcase ventilation (pcv) hose (b) and imt (imrc) valve control solenoid valve mounting bolt (c). 7. Remove the front bumper. ? 8. Disconnect the hood switch connector (a), then remove the air conditioning (a/c) line bracket mounting bolt (b), intake air duct mounting bolt (c), and harness clamps (d). 9. Remove the upper bracket and cushion mounting bolts (a), then remove the bulkhead (b). 10. 2003 pilot – rear door panel removal/installation special tools required trim pad remover, snap-on a 177a, or equivalent, commercially available. 1. Lower the glass fully. 2. Remove the inner handle (a). Take care not to scratch the door panel. -1 using a flat-tip screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, pry out on the lower portion of the cover (b) to release the hooks (c, d), then remove the cover. -2 remove the screws. -3 pull the inner handle forward and out half-way to release the hook (e). -4 disconnect the inner handle rod (f). 3. Detach the clips, and release the hooks (a, b, c), then remove the switch panel (d). Take care not to scratch the door panel. Disconnect the power window switch connector (e). 4. Remove the door panel (a) with as little bending as possible to avoid creasing or breaking it. -1 remove the screws (b). -2 release the clips (c) that hold the door panel with a commercially available trim pad remover (d). -3 starting at the rear, pull the door panel upward, then release the lock knob (e). 5. Install the panel in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: replace any damaged clips. Make sure the connector is plugged in properly and the rod is connected properly. Push the clips into place securely. Check the window and power door lock operations.

2003 3.2cl – headlight replacement 1. Remove the front bumper. 2. Disconnect the connectors (a) from the headlight (b). 3. Remove the five mounting bolts, then remove the corner upper beam (c) and headlight assembly. 4. Install in the reverse order of removal. 5. After replacement, adjust the headlights to local requirements. 2003 3.2cl – hid (high intensity discharge) unit replacement 1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio and the navigation system, then write down the frequencies for the radio’s preset buttons. 2. Turn the combination light switch off. 3. Disconnect the battery negative cable, then disconnect the positive cable. 4. Remove the headlight assembly. 5. Remove the bulb socket from the hid bulb. 6. Remove the three mounting screws and the hid unit (a). 7. Install in the reverse order of removal. 8. After reconnecting the battery, enter the anti-theft code for the radio and the navigation system, then enter the customer’s radio station presets.
